- Adventure playground/play area
East Riddlesden Hall has two play areas - a mud kitchen with wooden structures to play in and mini wheelbarrows to push around, the second is a trim trail which is a balancing course with a small climbing area.

There are two second-hand bookshops at East Riddlesden, the children's one can be found in the Discovery room. All other books can be found in the book hide.

Dogs are welcome on lead in the gardens, the lower fields are the perfect spot to run off lead. We do ask that dogs are kept out of the play areas.

- Keighley station 1.5 miles away, around a 25 minute walk to the site. Crossflatts station 2.2 miles away, around a 50 minute walk.

- The Shuttle 662 bus service operated by Transdev provides a frequent, every 15 or 20 minute, service Monday to Sunday between Bradford, Shipley, Saltaire, Bingley, Riddlesden and Keighley. The bus stop for East Riddlesden Hall is “Bradford Road West Lea Road”.

About East Riddlesden Hall
Hundreds of years ago this West Yorkshire manor was a thriving farming estate. Today the house tells tales of the ambition, success, and failure of those who lived and worked here and the barn displays the 400 year-old markings of proud craftsmen.
The gardens can be enjoyed at any time of the year, and seasonal highlights include the scented herb border in spring, cottage garden flowers in summer and trees laden with apples, pears and figs in autumn. The mud pie kitchen and den building corner in the discovery garden give opportunities for families to come together and enjoy outdoor natural play.
East Riddlesden Hall is the perfect place to spend a morning or afternoon.
