Blickling Tower 

A holiday at Blickling Tower really is something special. Formerly the Earl of Buckinghamshire’s race stand, this luxurious self-catering accommodation now boasts a roof terrace and your very own Rapunzel tower. When you and your prince charming have finished surveying the grounds there are walking and cycling trails to explore and local ales to be sampled in the nearby Buckinghamshire Arms.

Blickling Dairy House 

This unique 17th-century cottage sits deep within the Blickling estate. It will come as no surprise that this was once the great house’s dairy, lots of the original features still remain. There’s a secluded garden for al fresco eating, and for cyclists there’s lockable bike storage and enough trails to keep even the most energetic amongst you entertained.

Oxburgh Chapel Lodge 

This interesting getaway has retained all the markings of a traditional Norfolk cottage, although the facilities have been given a bit of a makeover. Sat on Oxburgh Estate, you can easily explore the moated manor house, or enjoy one of the estate’s many walks. Further afield you have Thetford Forest, King’s Lynn and The Wash all within a short drive.

Blakeney Lodge and the old mill, Norfolk

On the edge of a National Nature Reserve, Blakeney Lodge is perfect for wildlife lovers. Situated on the salt marshes and in the shadow of a windmill, this simple cottage is a great base from which to explore Blakeney Point. In winter months you might spot grey seal pups and in summer the skies are filled with diving terns.

Cromer Lodge, Felbrigg Hall, Cromer, Norfolk

Cromer Lodge 

This former Gate Lodge sits on the edge of the Felbrigg Hall estate and would once have met, and perhaps deterred, arrivals. Now the estate is much more welcoming and cottage guests are free to enjoy the house and grounds. The area is rich in wildlife and popular with birdwatchers, while the beaches of West Runton and Cromer are close by.

The smallest of three traditional barn conversions, this cosy self-catering cottage is the perfect place from which to explore the area. With two adjoining barns, both sleeping six, you can bring the whole gang.
