Enjoy the power and beauty of 'nature's confetti' as you experience the illusion of petals raining down on you from above at Outernet London, an immersive entertainment space housing giant floor to ceiling wraparound screens, the most advanced of their kind in the world. The National Trust Blossom experience returns for 2025 at Outernet London, Charing Cross Road (WC2H 8LH) from 1 - 30 April 2025.
Join us for a weekend of creative activities at 80 Mortimer Street on on 9 - 12 May to celebrate the Festival of Blossom with the National Trust London team and our community partners. Throughout the weekend, each community groups will take the spotlight during a day of creative exploration around the theme of Blossom. Tickets will be able to book nearer the time.
National Trust London is collaborating with Glitch, an innovative AR platform encouraging local biodiversity and urban greening to bring blossom trees to younger and more diverse audiences as part of the 2025 Festival of Blossom.
Fluffy white and pink blossom starts appearing on trees and hedgerows across London from late March.
See spring blossom at Ham House on over 100 fruit trees around the gardens including apricot, cherry, plum, apple and pear. Historical records show that there's been an orchard at Ham House since at least 16009. So these trees are similar to those that owners of the house in days gone by would have enjoyed.
Spot the Great White Cherry in the Winter Garden this spring, also known as Prunus ‘Tai Haiku’, with its brilliant white petals making a beautiful backdrop to your visit. Plum, pear and apple trees blossom from mid April, attracting bees busily collecting pollen.
From mid to late May, the horse chestnut trees blossom into shades of brilliant white, with snow-like flowers lining the avenues. And the hedgerows and path in the North Park look particularly lovely lined wth hawthorn and blackthorn blossom.
From April to May, 27 different varieties of apple tree burst into flower and Fenton Houes in the 300 year old orchard. The blossom is pink when the flowers first bloom, fading to white as the season progresses. Small ornamental cherry trees blossom along the South Walk too, providing a lovely backdrop for photos.

Follow this Surrey countryside trail of a circular walk between Egham and Runnymede through ancient woodlands, wetlands and wildflower meadows.
