Together you'll use reclaimed materials including cardboard and fabric to bring to life a giant bird puppet that can be operated by several people at once. This puppet will form a focal point of the Gorymdaith y Gwanwyn (Spring Promenade) parade. Imagine a giant bird roaming through the Dinefwr parkland, a sight to behold! You can drop in at any time, or stay for the day; come feel at home, and make something ludicrously lovely. Ren works across many mediums including costume, sculpture, and installation and creates work that champions the silly and strange. This workshop is part of the Gorymdaith y Gwanwyn (Spring Promenade) project. Take part in this free event and join in to promenade as part of Gorymdaith y Gwanwyn in Dinefwr on Sunday 13 April, meet at 1:45pm to parade at 2pm. Gorymdaith y Gwanwyn is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our parkland and estate. This playful celebration of spring, flowers, birds and their nesting habits holds Welsh landscape and culture at its heart, raising awareness of bio-diversity and the cycles of the natural world as well as the unique identities of our locality and communities.

The car park is approximately 50 meters from the venue, and there is ramped access to the Old Kitchen. The space is very light and bright, with a large carpet covering a quarry tiled floor.
