Step into the rich tradition of Welsh May carol singing with Singing in Spring, a vibrant and inclusive workshop bringing together a unique choir to welcome the changing season. Taking place around the Dinefwr estate, this workshop invites participants to learn and sing traditional folk songs once performed to bring good luck and mark the arrival of warmer days. The experience will culminate in a joyful, participatory performance leading up to the Spring Promenade, filling the space with music, history, and community spirit. Whether you love to sing or simply want to connect with Welsh heritage in a meaningful way, this is a chance to be part of something special. Join us to celebrate spring, foster new connections, and share in the joy of music! Gorymdaith y Gwanwyn is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our parkland and estate. This playful celebration of spring, flowers, birds and their nesting habits holds Welsh landscape and culture at its heart, raising awareness of bio-diversity and the cycles of the natural world as well as the unique identities of our locality and communities.

The car park is approximately 50 meters from the venue, and there is ramped access to the Old Kitchen. The space is very light and bright, with a large carpet covering a quarry tiled floor. This event is to celebrate our LGBTQ+ communities and their allies.

This workshop is part of the Gorymdaith y Gwanwyn (Spring Promenade) project. Take part in this free event and join in to promenade as part of Gorymdaith y Gwanwyn on Sunday 13 April, meet at 1:45pm to parade at 2pm.
